A stunning 5000 pocket springs will ensure you a night's sleep like no other you have experienced before.

The 5000 pocket springs are actually three layers of springs, a 2000 spring system sandwiched between two layers of 1500 spring units. These three layers are offset so that the top layer of springs allows the mattress to contour to your body's natural shape, while the 2000 take the bulk of your weight and are in turn supported by the bottom layer which are offset to increase the support. The overall effect of this construction is a mattress which will give you a certain degree of a weightless feeling and make the mattress better able to react to your movement during the night. The springs can all react independently of the others as they are all wrapped inside their own fabric pockets, which combined with the construction means the effect is sumptuous support.

Aside from the excellent support from the springs, the mattress also has completely natural fillings which not only makes it more comfortable than a mattress which uses man made fillings, but also more durable. This mattress includes the following fillings, pure white cashmere, silk, wool, cotton and mohair. These all perform a different function, from the softening effect of the cotton and cashmere to the mohair allowing air to flow through the mattress better. Another extra benefit of natural fibres is that they cause fewer allergic reactions and are much more ecologically friendly, all coming from renewable sources and involving no chemicals in their manufacture.

The mattress is also available in either a medium, firm or dual tension. The dual tension is with one half medium and the other firm. This means that if you and your partner have different preferences when it comes to firmness you can both have what you want. Just remember, when you turn the mattress you will need to rotate it as well.

It is finished with a superior damask cover and hand tufting, which ensures all the fillings stay in place. The sides are hand stitched with 4 tier stitching, which ties all the fillings into the springs so that the mattress is more durable and sturdier. There are also 5 flag stitched handles that make it easier to turn and move.
