The New York Luxury 1000 is no exception and is a great option for those looking for an entry level, handmade mattress which doesn't cost a fortune but exhibits all the qualities we asscociate with Relyon products, unbeatable comfort, excellent support and durability.
With 1000 pocket springs, this mattress offers a support that is just not available from a traditional open coil spring system. Each of the pocket springs sits inside its own fabric pocket, allowing them to react individually to pressure applied to them. The benefit of this is so that the mattress will contour to your body shape, allowing you to find the best position to sleep in for your back and general comfort. 1000 springs is a good number of springs and will be suitable for most people, if you weigh significantly more than the average you might want to go for a mattress with more though.
It is not just the comfort and support of the spring system that make this mattress such a good investment, it's the layers of soft white fibres along with a double density fibre layer tha is specifically designed to aid your posture and spine alignment. In short the mattress is geared towards comfort but also allowing your body the best night's rest possible through its contouring and posture support. There is also a layer of reflex foam directly on top of the springs to add further support and comfort.
The mattress is also completely made by hand with hand tufting which involves lengths of material being passed through the mattress and held in place by buttons on either side, keeping the various layers in place. There are then three rows of hand side stitching, which gives the mattress shape but also attaches the various layers to the side and the springs which makes it more durable.
