There are 1000 pocket springs, each of which is housed in its own individual fabric housing, allowing them all to react independently of each other and therefore only support the weight applied directly to them. In terms of comfort this mattress is as good as any other Ive bought. The memory foam and the springs seem to work well together and I'm enjoying the novel experience of the memory foam. It isn't finished as well as some mattresses but with the 5 year guarantee this doesn't worry me. The price paid means I'm not unduly concerned either, I'd rather pay for the comfort rather than all the hand tufting etc frills.

I've just bought my first house and have been trying to kit it out as cheaply as possible, which has been proving difficult. I wouldn't normally write a review on a site but thought I should for this mattress as this is possibly the best purchase I have made for my new house. I was suprised by comfortable this was for a kingsize mattress that is as cheap as it is. Would heartily recommend this to anyone who hasn't got a lot to spend but wants a genuinely comfortable mattress.
