It is a 20cm deep memory foam mattress which has a 70mm layer of memory foam, making it a supportive and comfortable mattress for everyday use.

The memory foam sits above a 130mm deep base of reflex foam, which is of a higher density than memory foam and is what provides the support in the mattress. It is realtively firm in comparison to the memory foam, but the mattress is of a medium firmness over all. The 70mm of memory foam reacts to your body heat and this allows you to sink into the mattress to a certain degree. The benefit of this is that pressure doesn't build on the heavier parts of your body. It means you can find the most comfortable and beneficial position to sleep in, which in turn allows you to wake with fewer aches and pains. The memory foam is also castellated, which allows air to flow through the mattress, meaning you don't need a cooling effect cover to keep you cool in the night, the mattress will naturally do this.

You don't need to periodically flip this mattress as it is no turn, you just need to rotate it every few months to get the most use from it. The cover is removable and machine washable, allowing you to keep the mattress fresher for longer.
